Adirondack Foundation accepting applications to Generous Acts

LAKE PLACID — Community organizations can now apply to Adirondack Foundation’s Generous Acts program, which supports activities that address basic needs, educational pathways and economic vitality in the Adirondack region.

Applications will be accepted online through Tuesday, Feb. 13. The Foundation will host an instructional webinar at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, for a demonstration on how to use the application portal and to answer questions from potential applicants. Generous Acts grantmaking is backed by committed donors who care deeply about local communities and entrust Adirondack Foundation to address needs and identify opportunities where philanthropic dollars can make a positive difference. Since 2014, Generous Acts has awarded over $3 million in grants to nonprofits, schools, and community-based organizations.
