Joan Grabe

Joan heads our Birth to Three Alliance Advocates, a group of ambassadors formed to attract private charitable dollars to fund the Adirondack Birth to Three Alliance. A Nursing School alumna, Joan is a Hunter College Foundation Trustee and chair of the Hunter College School of Nursing Advisory Board. In 2021, she was awarded an honorary doctorate for service to Hunter College by The City University of New York. She is also a trustee of the Adirondack Health System Foundation Board, and AdkAction, and serves on the committee responsible for selecting recipients of the Joan Tisch Prize for Excellence in Public Health.
